I've asked the mods to look into when/where/how I got injured, because other than that one message telling me I couldn't do last night's action, I have no record of it. Or I missed it in the main thread in a write-up. Or the mods goofed up.

Dunno if mods have answered you yet, but I wouldn't be surprised if you're facing the same thing as me (got injured during the thread fall, but the notification of that got lost amid the chaos)

But our hold didn't miss a tithe. If LIS is hurt, that blows all theories on any kind of reason away and it would be have to be random. Unless they went with since sandy was killed her tithe night, but that would be rather cruel....

The mods described people anticipating receiving Sandy's abilities via tithe, so it did sound like her tithe went through.

Id assumed it was random...but I could actually see the sandy thing happening. Don't know what the mods' order of operations is, but I can totally see the tithe being unsuccessful since she died that night, if mine was considered unsent due to closing the shutters.
 
Ninja'd! And oh snap you're right, her tithe did go through. I remember now. Hmm.

Not feeling it like I felt Gwen (that sounds dirty :naughty:) but I don't want to vote for myself and I would be surprised if Promo is a wolf. I don't have any new insight to add about anyone else, so. . . Yeah. Lynch the head.

How do you always know more than I do :laugh:
Shouldn't we also consider the people who haven't tithed or do you have info on all of them? I would think Kam and guis unlikely since they tithed for us and we had no thread injuries.

I have already stated that it is possible they rescinded the tithe. It doesn't clear anyone to say they did unless their ability is known and it was passed on for next night use.

Also, this is including the fact that LIS was supposedly injured and it was made apparent that we didn't miss a tithe in southern before that fateful night.

I know, I was just asking because I would think people who haven't tithed would be included on the list to, and like I said we had no injuries

Unless someone decided not to say they were injured. But guis sent me the healing item so that seems unlikely on her part.

Saw this after I posted. If LIS was thread injured then yeah, all bets are off. And I would cease to see the point in tithing.

It's a mechanic I've seen in other WW games in the past. It's usually a one off kill, not a recurrent thing. It would also make sense given Gwen's character was so distraught by his dragon dying that he tried to kill other people immediately. I just thought it could be a reasonable mechanic given that.

she tithed that night, so I don't see her also being able to kill.
 
@Lupin21 not sure about Kam other than my feelings (am I that much on the same wavelength as a wolf??) but from what I know of guis it wouldn't be possible for her to be the ability thief, even ignoring the no injury = no missed tithe thing.

But, with that theory included, unless someone withheld the fact that they were injured in our hold...

The other issue we have is that a tithed ability was to kill. Which happened N2. According to another source. Soo..... yup.
 
I'm definitely village. My ability is that I can communicate with another player. It has already been sorted that I can receive tithes, since I received Sand's res ability. So, since that is out there, I might as well share a little more.

N1 - Received a tithe. Got the ability to block on N2, but couldn't use it because...
N2 - Tithed my ability to communicate. Did not receive a tithe to use on N3 except my own.
N3 - Got my ability to communicate back. Recieved Sand's Res ability to be used on N4
N4 - Chose not to tithe because I wanted to bring back our healer. Night cancelled... couldn't resurrect anyone.
N5 - Tithed my ability to communicate. Also received a tithed com ability - but they don't cancel out and so I still couldn't use mine.

I could see converting someone on a no kill night and then getting an extra kill the next night to make up for it. Losing a villager, not giving up a night kill, getting an extra wolf, and then getting an extra kill seems overboard. Not impossible but unlikely in my mind
