I am stoked that I got an acceptance but due to interviews and getting sick during midterms, I dont think i am going to do that well my in history class. I dont need the class, it was just something i took. Will taking a W in it affect my acceptance at all? Thanks

I struggled (past-tense since our withdraw date has passed) with this same thing...My interview schedule fell right around my two hardest midterms which did not bode well at all 🙁

I ended up staying in the class because I was unable to figure out how they would view a withdrawal from a course post-acceptance. I know lots of people on here advocate withdrawing (and retaking when applicable) rather than having a not great grade on your transcript but I ended up deciding to try and stick it out. Definitely regretting that decision now but I wasn't sure if I would run into more problems the other way around...

drop it. you can call and ask if they care, but I think its not a big deal.

ok, yea i just called and they told me go take the w, it doesnt matter as long as its not a prereq. Hopefully this is the policy for all schools.

See!!!! 😀

haha good call, im pretty sure it happens a lot. going on interviews during classes that require mandatory attendance and participation isnt a good match
