Okay. I'm going to submit my Duke secondary today, but one of my references is out of the country. Does anyone know if you can get an interview invitation without having all of your recc letters in?

I'm not sure, but they invited me to interview like 2 days after I was complete, so it's possible that they had reviewed me prior to receiving the letters. But it's also possible they coincidently reviewed me the day after my letters were in.

When I was at my interview, I thought I heard Wendy, the admissions office rep, tell someone over the phone that LORs are not considered for interview selection. You can always call here and confirm that information.
