e-mail or mail Letter of Intent?

is it poor form to email a letter of intent??

I think in depends on the school. One school told me to e-mail it, so I did.

With my other schools I mail them.
 
Personally, I sent both to the same school. Just indicate that you are sending a hard copy in the e-mail.

I did the same as you have mentioned. This way they have both.
 
Check with the admissions office. Sometimes, snail mail takes a while to get processed once it has arrived in the office. With email, they can just print and put it into your file.
