I FINALLY found earplugs that I like, that actually work (Howard Leight earplugs, the orange ones) and pretty much block out all types of noise/sound from the environment. However, I feel a bit weird with them in my ears (they feel a bit heavy) and whenever I have them on, my head always feels weird...like the SLIGHTEST head movement can cause cracking/crackling sensations in the back of my neck, it's so noticeable and annoying. I took them out in the beginning of the PS section today while I was taking a practice test. This is a shame, they work so well in blocking out noise 🙁 Anyone know any other good earplugs that don't cause such distractions? Should I try them one more time and see if I can get used to them? Thanks.

I tried those Leights and had pretty much the same experience. Hearos Ultimate Softness is what I ended up deciding to use. They are soooooooooooooo comfortable, and they fit so snug. They don't block out all the noise alone, but coupled with headphones, they're perfect.

Only if they're in the original packaging... so if you try them out you have to buy another pair for the MCAT.
