Anyone that interviewed at East Carolina Univ in Greenville, NC care to share their thoughts about the program and if they plan on ranking them? Thanks

I interviewed there for med school and the town is tiny and in the middle of nowhere. Dont know anything about the program

Teaching is huge. The chairman is supportive. Phenomenal PD. The environment is great. The Peds residents are well respected by other residents. Cost of living is great if you have a family. (2000 sf home very affordable!) The population is really growing, still most people are from the SE, but for example our neighbors are from Indianapolis, Brazil, Charlotte, and Maryland. It is not NYC, but it is a very kind program where you will learn to be a pediatrician and not lose touch of who you are as a person. There are some great gyms that residents can join for a discount, and the social scene is what you make of it. No huge clubs, but we do go out dancing and occasionally bar hopping. If you are more tame than that you will also find friends. Nordstroms 1 1/2 hours away, beach 1 1/2 hrs in opposite direction (1 hr if you drive like me). New mall being developed right now on other side of town. Safe place to live. Not CHOP, but def a number of top notch AOA types choose to stay here because of the charm and the people.
