I need some suggestions on this.
A 21 year old primigravida at term, presented with uterine contractions, leaking liquor, bloody show. After about a day, her CTG tracing showed early deceleration which did not resolve after an hour, and cervical os was abrupted at 4 cm. An emergency cesarean was done for fetal distress, mother and child are currently well.
Anyone can suggest any evidence based questions to ask? Other than those on cesarean section.
Thanks

Well, here is one question I would be interested in hearing evidence for, if that's what you mean:

Under what circumstances has electronic fetal monitoring been shown to improve maternal/fetal outcomes?

Not sure what you are trying to do, though...

Rupture of membrane😛

That's a pretty good question. What I meant was asking a question, any question based on the case, which was to be answered by literature review.

For example, some questions which one could ask (in regards to the above case):
1) What are the maternal and perinatal outcomes in a trial of vaginal delivery after a Cesarean?
2) What is the significance of an early deceleration?

1. What evaluation should have been done related to infection? Depending on the results and if the ROM was prolonged, how should the mother and baby been evaluated and treated?

2. What are the risks and benefits of augmentation of labor in the circumstance in which she presented to the hospital?
