EK 7th edition useful?

I was given the EK 7th edition complete set. Should I use these books, or should I just get materials explicitly listed in SN2 or whatever?

I don't know what to do/how to study. I know there are some things that aren't on the test anymore from the old material.

EK 7th is quite old... not sure if it was updated before or after the new MCAT. Would recommend buying at least the 9th edition, which you can get for just $50
