PMH: peds only, during which pt reports having envied the interns. psych consult pending.
PSxH: was SOCMOBing (and bagging) on trauma when instructed to do direct cardiac massage.
SH: reports having gone to ED at end of day after release from surgery team looking for something to do. expressed desire to intubate, but was d/c'd home.

DDx is Peds vs EM vs Peds EM.

Third year is some crazy mad business, and it's only just begun...

CC: Being MS 4 wanting to do EM for a living
HPI: Began approximately 5.5 years ago with Tramatic event of becoming a tech in a busy ED, has progressively gotten worse until now the pain is 13/10 with no alleviating factors. Aggravated by excess cost and work of ERAS/interviewing. Pain radiates to abdomen causing N/V. Pain is sharp, sometimes crushing. Has tried Percocet, EtOH, Duragesic patches, Soma, Valium, and Ativan with minimal relief. Moderate relief from support by EPs and job offers.
PMH: Smart Assitis, Jokerism, Fastus Driverus, Death
PSH: Bank Accountectomy
Meds: Yes
Allergies: Work, Gomers, LOLNAD
ROS: As per HPI, otherwise negative
PE:
Pale, Diaphoretic, Tachycardia, Tachypnea, Smells of EtOH, otherwise benign

25 yo MS4 hispanic male originally from Miami complains of "being broke" since approximately 1 month ago, when he decided to apply through ERAS.

His "brokeness" occurred suddenly and has been constant, 7/10 in severity, radiates primarily to social outings and luxuries, alleviated by interview offers, exacerbated by rejections. Prior similar episode about 4 years ago when applying to med school.
