I fear for my kids with dopey aholes like this on the road. Even after jail, fines, a derailed career, probably a million dollars lost and he’s still saying this stuff for the article?
Maybe he needed that prison time after all.

I’m not signing up to read that, but I will say it’s generally a bad idea to escalate things with a total stranger unless you have nothing to lose. You have no idea what someone else is going through or capable of. Unhinged on amazon prime does a good job of showing that.

I didn’t realize it was behind some security wall.
Mid career EM physician went on a rampage in his Tesla because some young girl passenger on a motorcycle flipped him off for presumably driving too slow in the left lane on his way home from a family lunch, he almost fought her boyfriend at a stoplight where he got out of the car to escalate the fight, then they had a 100mph+ race dodging cars on the crowded highway while the motorcycle was fleeing the Wackjob, and he ended up, according to witnesses, deliberately cutting off the motorcycle clipping it in the process and fortunately didn’t cause it to violently crash at high speed. Then he stopped the guy from fleeing because of damage to the Tesla and ended up leaving in handcuffs, being charged with multiple felonies, settling for lesser felonies, losing his ability to bill Medicare for 3 years, a couple months in the jail, which he described as relaxing, house arrest, probation, etc. and ultimately having to change careers to hair restoration.
His comments prove he’s a giant dickhole who learned nothing from the experience and I’m sure he’s still a menace on the road, but now in a Ferrari with his cash practice money.
And one of his take home messages from the article is be careful what you do when you’re not working because it could affect your career. As if many young physicians need to be reminded not to behave like drunken teens and avoid committing multiple felonies, attempted murder, etc. lol

He is family medicine boarded but likes to call himself emergency medicine trained because he moonlighted in the ER at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing MI. Apparently it is one of the busiest ER in Michigan which sounds like bull**** if you compare it to the ERs at HFHS and Detroit Receiving Hospital. He runs a hair restoration clinic and that is his main job now. Graduated from American University of the Carribbean. WOW he wants you to know that he knows ACLS and BLS. I don't know man. I'm a very patient level headed person, but I had a similar incident and almost reacted the same way. There was construction happening in the right lane and there were cones put to close it. So I put on my blinker and got with plenty of space merged into the other lane. When it became two lanes again, same kind of couple, drive by me and hold up the finger. Some scrawny pos 20 year old. I don't know why, but I just became so angry, I wanted to stop him, pull my golf clubs out and just go to town. Some people just invoke strong reactions from people. You always gotta stay calm.

Too much gun violence and road rage out there. Watch on the news people getting shot and killed for whatever perceived slight happens out on there.. You never know what psychotic dingus you meet on the road. I used to get really angry with this stuff years ago. I've learned it doesn't matter who is right or wrong. No need to prove anything. I rarely even use the car horn nowadays. Just don't engage and stay safe.

Still we can all learn from this man's HUGE mistake (multiple mistakes). I am sure every one of us has had some "rage" in our heads driving on the road. Typically, most of us just stay in the car and deal with it without escalating to violence. I would take solace knowing that kid on the motorcycle is likely going to get injured or killed by someone else. That alone would be enough for me to avoid them both and go about my business. The bottom line is that you can think it but you can't act on it.

Too fast to post online. Let's just say if I get clocked at those speeds it will be an issue and I may not make it work that day. I must emphasize I drive fast only when conditions allow and the highway isn't crowded. I don't race other vehicles and if for some reason a car wants to pass me (rare) I move over.

If I encounter a kid driving at 140 mph on a motorcycle or a car (typically all souped up) I just move over and let them pass. The type of drive I hate the most is the one who cuts in front of you only to slow down.
