I matched at Emory and I'm having a hard time remembering my visit there because it was so long ago, and I also missed the resident dinner. Could anyone with first hand experience tell me more about what it's like to be a resident there? Thanks!

Residents all seemed nice. Big program, multiple sites, so didnt seem as tight-knit. I liked the residents I met, hated Atlanta and multiple sites, hospitals (like all) were forgettable. Soooooooooo good luck!

It's a great program and I think you'll be happy there. Faculty are amazing. The multi-site thing is inconvenient, but not unbearable.

Atlanta is an amazing city with an incredible food scene and lots of parks and outdoor spaces. It's a very cosmopolitan city, despite being in the Deep South.

Biggest drawback is definitely the traffic, but if you find the right location, you can ensure that your longest commute will be 20 minutes tops.

Thanks! That is more helpful, I'm coming from a smaller city so I will have to look into a smart place to live to avoid traffic.
