Oooops... competition!! That makes me pretty 😡.
So where are all of you applying? My application is concentrated in the North East and SoCal.

South, North East, Midwest. I did apply to couple of California programs but their extra emphasis on candidates with heavy research background will probably rule me out.
Along with locations, can you guys share research experience? I have two second author research, one is in endo.

Couple of first author low impact publications [case reports etc.]... one good second author research, presented, but not yet published... good letters [I hope!!!]. No basic science research.
Wow... I was looking at the number of views of this thread... looks like each of us are looking at this thread about 100 times... how else do you explain 500+ views and 5 participants? 😉

Match results are out in June. Little too early for interviews. I spoke to one program and I was told that they are still in the process of collecting applications. I imagine we will start hearing over next couple of weeks.

USMLE transcripts are processed once in a 24 hour period, so the programs should have access to the transcripts the following day if you applied after they have processed the transcripts for that day. Don't worry, the program will download the transcripts as soon as they are available. I applied to some programs late at night so the transcript did not become immediately available but the programs downloaded the transcripts two days later.
Yes on STEP 3. Assuming the same on MSPE.
I have yet to hear any thing back, no rejections, no interviews...... any one else??????Any IV so far or it is still too early???

Not iv yet for me. I contacted some programs in NY and Chicago, still reviewing applications.... let´s pray!!
I was checking old posts and I saw some people got around 7 to 10 IV´s so that makes me wonder if you have a budget to attend as many IV you want, How many IV´s are the programs allow you to attend base in the fact you have to be "off hospital duites" at least 2 days per IV? Is there a limit put by ACGME? Are they going to take that time from your sick-leave of abscence or, do U have to make that time after youre done? just wondering.........

At our program, we are expected to take late night flights to/from the interview so we are away for only one day. I doubt ACGME wants to micromanage to that level.

Good Luck to all the Endo applicants.
Some words of encouragement: it is too early to be discouraged! This is a long process and match isn't until June. When I applied (and this was the year prior to endo joining the match), I received some interview invitations in late Feb/early March -- and the match has actually drawn out the length of the process.
It is anxiety-provoking -- but try to stay calm. If you feel like you want to be "doing" something to help yourself, think about connections you have that can potentially make calls on your behalf (January may be too early, though).
All the best!
