i had an endo interview
last year at UMDNJ on october 2nd! they had only one day and invited 20 interviewees. hope this helps a little.
for those who are going:
you hand out for the day, get general info about the program in the morning, spend time with the residents, have lunch together in the cafeteria. talk to the reisdents a lot, they have a say in the final decision!!! if they dont like you, you are out.. it is all about group dynamics. interviel with the program director, dr. hartwell is one on one and during the afternoon.
dr. hartwell is supernice, short and sweet interview, more chatting than interview atmosphere. he might ask where else you applied, wants to know if you really mean to do endo! he is not about getting the best of the best, he wants to put a good group of people together. team spirit matters to him a great deal!
ugly clinic
😱 but good program!
👍
lots of patient exposure, heavy emphasis on clinic adn research. residents have to read tons of articles every week.
hang out when the residents have patients, put a gown on, sit down, assist, ask questions.
good luck!
