I didn't realize that endo was going to be using ERAS this year -- I think it's a great idea. When I applied for pulmonary 2005, it was the first medical specialty to use ERAS that season, and they were only doing it as a year-long trial. It was SO much easier to just submit one single application and to have it all electronic so that I could track everything to make sure that programs had all the correct information.
It was such a success at that time that pulmonary is continuing to use ERAS (they used it again for the 2006 cycle), and now several other specialties are jumping on the bandwagon.
