So I took engineering physics at my university and I want to repeat the series. The only thing is the engineering physics isn't included as part of the extension program for the university and the summer tuition is very expensive compared to the extension program ($2300 per class for summer vs $650/class for extension).

The extension program offers the regular physics required for science majors (premed). Would that class replace my physics for engineers or not? Anyone run into a similar problem?

No it doesn't, at least not in my case.

I took the engineering physics(calculus based) and had to replace it with the same type of sequence. I asked AACOMAS if I could do the science(non-calculus based) algebra based and they said no.

This. Engineering physics (calculus based) is NOT the same as general physics (algebra-based).

im dreading this myself. was really hoping i could do away with taking algebra based physics I and 2 to replace the engineering physics
