Did you discuss with her what we talked about? And I haven’t opened any other pms yet - I didn’t feel good about anyone else in the group at the start of the day, though I was strongly contemplating reaching out to cray after her reveal. I didn’t get around to it before close and then I started second guessing myself after sunshine’s flip.

Mixing it up because I really dislike that Scrooge reference. Coming from a player who forgot about dead players, I could see it just being a subconscious reference while joking around because he read it at the very beginning of the game in a wolf role pm. Stagg claimed it was a bad joke but I don’t see how he even remotely logically landed on a Scrooge joke from my post asking about Jane eyre.

Sorry guys, I was going to do a whole in depth analysis of the mkg interactions but I'm...tired. There isn't a ton of interaction with her and the candidates today anyway (except me of course!).

Did pull this out, becuase I wanted to think about why she would have added these particular people to her POE. First one was d2, second was d3 before zenge died.

Maybe she was just throwing in a wolf or two for WIFOM once she knew she was potentially going down? More things to point to stagg or finn as a good choice today.

They're both dreadfully boring works written by crappy authors. Legit question, have you ever seen me wolf? Because I'm nowhere close to that terrible as a wolf.

If we're gonna play either/or, for now going with Stagg because AM seemed to think my village read in him was bad, my reads this game aren't great (not sure why I'm so prone to emotional manipulation this game, you'd think burn out would burn out my feelings for fellow players), and she's now been proven village.

Gotta say, feeling pretty good about Barks and Dina based on this. I'm also willing to set aside LIS and Capri for now.

Ok going back doing more pbpa on stuff I missed. To try to generate more discussion. Pip feels like we've checked out of her game and this upsets me. But I can only generate like 2.5 posts per post I'm given, so you guys gotta work with me I can't generate content on my own.

OK, so I'm wondering with sooooo many players, and so many wolves already in serious danger so early on, sunny and mkg, if they would have really pushed another wolf starting to get heat, Finn.

Or have things been quiet because they don't have the energy to fight? Bioshock was hard losing wolf after wolf in yeets and trying to carry on.

I think the point isn't just timing as in yes you can have a wolf stuck with a day shot, but I proved I was an anytime vig with my shot on genny. With its own kill flavor, and early enough that we hadn't seen all the flavors. So I chose to use timing that favors village instead of being wolfy with it.

It's you or AM that's always saying to look at how the ability is used. Besides the fact I shot scummy sounding beloved Zenge, everything I've done has been villagey. And I helped vote out wolves.

Last game I had extra wolf kills, and I was wolfy af with them.

I already said about Enigma, you don't give up easy misyeets lightly. I think the shots on genny and alissa were pretty village choices, not really wolfy.

If this makes me paranoid, it's of Sporty and Dubz. I could totally see them feeling like they needed to get rid of AM and DocE but not me to make it to endgame. AM and DocE are stronger wolfhunters than I am, and I don't know that Sporty and Dubz would expect to continue to be village read at all by those two if they are wolfing and end game comes.

I understand it, I just think she was ignoring the point of my argument that the timing of the day kill, not the day kill itself was the problem. Given the flips we've had, I'm still confused about the Zenga and Alissa choices though as well as your reasoning behind them.

idk, maybe I have a bleeding heart for Bread and I shouldn't. I know he's busy irl and tired at the pace of this game, and I know that doesn't make him village, but dang it, I feel bad voting for him.

I just wolfed with Zenge and I thought he sounded so wolfy he was howling. My read on Sunny was bad, and I thought he was twisting the case on her as he had on me earlier (and I know I'm innocent). I wanted to resolve some of the pack dynamic stuff (and I've been saying for months now that kind of thinking is not what I do), so I thought I should shoot one of the 3 to flip and give perspective on the others, because they were fighting and people said as much. I thought it should be someone the village wanted flipped, but I didn't have a wolfy read on sunny or mkg, just Zenge. And I thought village was delusional, he was wolf, and I would be the only one to do what needed done. I figured we'd have the Zenge info and that would either give us pause on his mkg or sunny pushes if he was wolf, or if not it might just hasten their deaths. Win win unless they were all village, but that seemed unlikely based on opinions at the time, but in any case village seemed set on figuring mkg and sunny out so the idea that Zenge's death might lead to a misyeet of Sunny and mkg wasn't enough to stop me there. Gotta break eggs to make a wolf omlette.

I feel like I keep saying the same thing over and over. Do I need to go back and quote the awful stuff Zenge was doing to support my reasoning there? Genny and LIS also pointed it out.

There was a 3 way tie for alissa for a while. I needed to get the shot in and done or I wasn't going to be able to time it for discussion and for me to reveal and claim. I didn't want to push it out another cycle I was also pretty sure wolves might suspect my identity based on me shooting Zenge, and I didn't want to be NK while I had bullets. Again I didn't have a wolf read on the counter wagons. I thought alissa's vote on sunny was opportunistic.

I get it, everyone thinks my vig shots were garbage. But I did vote wolves although that was more about going with village flow than my great hunting skills this game. If I was trying to seem village by bussing and by my shot usage, seems like I've done a piss poor job at either. A villager's uninformed minority type job. If this was all wolf strat I think the play would be a lot tighter.

Shooting a villager midday brings instant suspicion on anyone they were pushing.

A wolf trying to protect a wolf from a villager's suspicion, shouldn't shoot them midday mid-argument. Usually has the opposite effect.

Ffs people, I quoted the MafiaScum article on vigilante play and how to strategically use it for village. You try to time it so there is more time for discussion to use the info from the flip. If you're a wolf you hold the shot like you might a vote, so you know what the wagons are, kill someone like 5 minutes before close when you don't have a bunch of wolves in danger, and let another flash wagon or the next contender take out hopefully another villager. It's all spelled out, village vs wolf vigging 101, and the article makes perfect sense. Doesn't mean that always how ppl use the ability, but certain things inherently favor village or wolves no matter who does it (shot timed for discussion vs EOD chaos)

Also @PippyPony I think the 36/12 format is great for a 30 player game at the outset, but I agree as the players whittle down fatigue and other things set it and so transitioning to 12/12 is eventually needed to keep it up.

I hope that you might consider a hybrid format in the future.
