Hi,
I am a Canadian student looking to apply for the 2008-9 Application Cycle. I have been reading the ADEA Guide and many American Dental Schools require "Writing intensive courses." What does this entail? Do i have to contact each Dental school individually? If so, what kind of information should I provide? If i tell them I go to X School and am taking SCI 4XXX, and want to see if that will fulfill their requrieemtn, will that work?
Also, the American schools seem to be using a different Credits system than we do in Canada. The ADEA Guide breaks requirements down into 8/12, 3/4 and 6/8 Credits (semester/quarter). Any idea what these are in Canadian Credits/units?
If i take an English course in my 4th year, and am applying this summer (summer before 4th year) this means that the Schools I am applying to will not see my English marks for this application cycle right? Because technically I will be accepted or in interviews before the year is over.. Better yet, Can i take multiple English courses in my last semester of school? That way marks aren't out until May 2009. Are my devious plans correct? (Unless I don't get in this year, then that sucks for me haha..)
Thanks, I am so lost...
