The dental schools have one year requirement of english.

Is it ok to take the english classes on pass/fail basis?

How would this affect chance of getting into dental school?

I would appreciate any input.

I'm almost certain any pre-requisite classes for dental schools need to be taken for a letter grade. But you should call the schools to make sure.

I read many schools' websites, and most of them specifically mention that all pre-requirement courses (include english) should be letter grade. So, it might be helpful if you take letter grade instead of pass/no pass.
