Hormone during the fight or flight response, but also a neurotransmitter in the sympathetic n.s.

This should be simple but I was thinking about it today and wanted to double-check.

Norepinephrine is the neurotransmitter released by the post-ganglionic cells in the sympathetic nervous system. Norepinerphine is also used to create epinephrine by addition of a methyl group. Epinephrine acts as a hormone that travels through the bloodstream to activate the stress response. I'm pretty sure this is as much as you need to know for the MCAT, yet take it with a grain of salt since there would be exceptions to this.
