ERAS and GME-2 application?

Question: I remember having to fill out ERAS for my military GME-1 application. Does the same hold true for my military GME-2+ application? So far, I have received absolutely ZERO guidance about the GME-2+ application.

All GME-1 applications are saved and used as the foundation of your GME-2 application. ERAS is not requested or required. GME-2 guidance usually comes out this month.

What about 3 years from now when I'm (likely) finishing my GMO? Are ERAS applications saved for that long?
