ERAS Personal Statement - HELP!

I wrote my personal statement for ERAS but I need someone to check my grammar, content, etc. How can I get help? Does anyone know any good commercial proofreading services? If I post my PS in the forum of the specialty I am applying for, would it help?

Use a professional service. Just google around to find a respectable company. I would not post your statement on SDN. No one is going to give it a thorough review like a professional service. Also, you don't want your writing out on the Internet.

Don't you have a mentor, dean, or professor that could look things over for you? That way you can get commentary on how much the statement reflects who you are and they'll look over it for grammatical correctness.
