Look at this matriculation rate. Doesn't this look fishy?

For background, it's a 1-year program if you're like 507+ w/ experience and a 2-year program if you're 496+
w/o experience

This is pretty legit. They make you take classes with the med students during the first year. If you do well enough you are practically guaranteed a seat in their class. I believe once accepted you didnt even have to take first year again. I was quite unsure on what they did besides paying tuition for the first year of medical school. Biggest mistake of my life was not doing this program when I had the chance.

Quite legit. I'd say they're probably enrolling more and more risky students.

My own school's SMP has a ~75-80% rate of getting people into med school (DO and MD). Some people just aren't meant to go to med school.

Keep in mind that some people take multiple tries to get accepted as well.

Seems legit, I may look into this.

I'm in the middle of midterms so it'd take me a few days to give you a solid reply, but I'm at EVMS and my roommate is in this program. If you have any questions, feel free to message me!

I don't think you can skip first year.

Curious if they include Caribbean matriculation.

Still a better program than Georgetown SMP.

Including caribbean would be a big red flag. I doubt they do this, but it'd be good to know for those considering it.

They do (according to the list online), but it's really more the exception than the rule. They accept 30 Med Masters students every year and then a good amount are accepted elsewhere to both MD and DO schools.

Yeah but it makes sense if you take M1 classes in the SMP. I'd be pissed AF if I had to repeat

Med Masters accepted into EVMS can opt out of M1 classes that they received honors in. They take a slightly watered down version of anatomy, though, so I think they'd have to retake that.

Still have to pay full tuition.
