Experienced dentist applying for 6 yr oms

Hello everyone,
I begin to study for the cbse to apply next cycle and I was wondering if anyone seen or heard of an experienced dentist get into a 6 yr oms program, and how difficult do you guys think it will be to compete with fresh out of dental school grads??

I begin to study for the cbse to apply next cycle and I was wondering if anyone seen or heard of an experienced dentist get into a 6 yr oms program, and how difficult do you guys think it will be to compete with fresh out of dental school grads??

It is not uncommon to find a resident who had been a dentist for some years before going back to a residency in OMS.

I know of a few who have done that. They did very well in residency. They had to study and adjust more to the classroom work required by Med school but they did well. Good luck!
