Depends on the school. My school stated that they will NOT give extensions for any reason, yet I know someone that applied to another university and they gave him an extension in the deposit.

I know for Campbell it is. I asked and was told you could either get a week extension or be put on a specific payment plan. But when you agree to either of those things, you agree that you will be the full deposit regardless of if you decide to go to another school. They also require an explanation, and will not grant an extension if it is because you are waiting to hear from another school..

Hey thanks for the responses. I am indeed trying to get an extension from Campbell, I was going to email them Monday but I guess I don't need to anymore and pay the deposit. Just to clarify though, you are only granted a week of extension max? I need a month!

Yes they said a week or you can do the payment plan. You have to submit a form and get it approved for either option..
