I know you should do volunteer work and get clinical experience, even research. But what kind of stuff are all of you doing. I played football for my university for the first 2 years and now looking for something else to do. I'm all ready a P.C.A at the hospital and part of the premed club, i'm just wondering what all of you think is good volunteer work (is shadowing considered volunteer work? or clinical experience?) and on campus type clubs/programs that worked for you. Help!!

Try doing some research project in your major, or in biology/chemistry. Research looks really good. Also, the clinical research looks really good in a hospital. Choose EC stuff that fits your personality, and goals for practice.
Go to a hospital and find something you can do. Shadowing looks really good, so does volunteering.
