So when typing the secondaries out are we supposed to used the typewriter and type directly onto the secondary questions sheet......or are we supposed to just type the questions all over again in Microsoft word or somethign and then answer them? I know this is a ridiculous question but I honestly dont know! 😕 😕

Use their form on a typewriter.

If it doesn't say that you have to type it you may choose to neatly write in your responses in black or blue ink.

One caveat: if the secondary is online or emailed you may be able to fill it out on your computer and print it out (especially if it is a word document).

SuzyQ and for all others still filling out their secondaries,

My suggestion is to type your secondaries, but lets face it typewritters have been obsolete for about 15 years. I found a great program that lets you add text to your application. The catch is that you do need a scanner.

For anyone interested, please PM me and I'll get back to you with the details. No one should suffer with a typewritter.

Try to use a typewriter if you have one around. But honestly, if you don't have one, it's not that big of a deal as long as you print very neatly. The deal is that the adcoms don't have the time nor the patience to try to figure out what you wrote and your application could easily get discarded if they have to struggle to understand it. A typewriter takes away that element of obscurity in hand writing something.

Thanks everyone for your response!! I just have one more question....can you attach a seperate sheet onto the secondary application for the essays? They just give very little room to write everything down.

I'm pretty sure that most of the secondaries I got had a line that said something to the effect of "feel free to attach additional sheets of paper if necessary." So to answer your question, yes, you can. 😀
