What all did you take into consideration when ranking your choices of clinical sites for 3rd and 4th year?

Wherever has the most residencies. Nothing else matters.

2. Accreditation of residencies (AOA, ACGME, both)
3. Age of residencies
4. Length of time site has had students

Where you learn the most, have study time...and also free food.
It's great to go somewhere with residencies affiliated because you learn quite a bit from the residents (sometimes preceptors or attendings are too busy to really teach you...or care about you at all).

Thank you all for the feedback. Anyone married/married w/children? Curious as to how supportive the spouse has been for those who auditioned at great distances. Or, do you keep your away rotations nearby?
