FAFSA 2023-2024 Question

Hey y'all!

I want to fill out my FAFSA now. Luckily, I only applied to 9 schools so I can add each one to the list. I'm having a really hard time finding FAFSA codes on most of the vet school websites. So, I've just entered the code for parent school

I.e.
University of Illinois Champain-Urbana code: 001775
Auburn code: 001009

But,

Tufts has a code specific to the CVM whereas others don't so I listed the overall school codes like above. Should the others have specific codes? Is this correct or should I wait to fill these out?

The schools that I applied to just had the parent schools code! Right now I’m at kstate and some of the financial aid conversations i had came directly from their department on main campus. I feel like if the school didnt list a specific code for their cvm then the parent code will work out!

For Illinois all financial aid stuff and questions go through main campus and if you try to ask vetmed, they’ll direct you to the main campus financial aid people

Like the Champain-Urbana campus? That’s the code I used because it says that’s where the vet school is. Not sure if that’s the main one

Yep. UIUC is the main campus university and the vet school is one of the colleges under that umbrella
