Ok so I'll be attending out of state at Tufts Dental and was wondering,

If I filled out only FAFSA, am I guaranteed some sort of financial aid/loans that will cover everything (tuition+cost of living)?

I'm just afraid of not being able to afford school. The type of loans doesn't matter to me.

no the max amount you can get from fafsa.. or so i know is aroudn 20grand each so 40 grand awarded for the year. semester. this came nothing close to my budget which was 80 grand a year. there are private loans specifically for health profession students from citi and chase (2 places i checked) that lets you borrow 275 grand total thurought ur school year. (i maybe a bit off with my numbers maybe 250?) my dad cosigned the private loan for me and i got a very good rate tat was less than 5%.

hope this helps

So from what I'm assuming this is how it works..
FAFSA = covers about 1/4-1/3 of school
Tufts Financial Aid = covers I'm assuming, a little extra
Private loans (from banks?)= covers the rest?

Also, when should I apply for private loans?

Anyone know if the Tufts Financial Aid package includes private loans? Does Tufts handle arranging that or do I need to find those myself?

Did you submit the package of green papers and CCS? I believe that's what you're referring to.

Yeah. I did the FAFSA and CCS and submitted my parents' info. I'm just unclear whether the Tufts package will include private loan options or if I'm supposed to apply to those separately. Thanks in advance.
