Lots of ppl (Above) suggested to keep my student status. My 4th year is going to be from oct to june 2020. I apply for match 2021. I don't think I'll be doing audition rotations.
I wouldn’t take a full on leave of absence, just finish off schedule and graduate in 2021.
You don’t have to do auditions, but I’d recommend it. I’ve enjoyed the freedom of my schedule being able to set them up when the opportunity presents itself.

I can't delay graduation. I am graduating in 2020 and matching in 2021. School is only making me delay match.

They told you that you cannot delay graduation?

Well that’s some ****. They’re really screwing you over here. I’d fight that tooth and nail.
If you’re going to finish in June how are they making you delay the match? You need to be done by July 1.

I have been fighting. But the dean won't listen 🙁 They are really screwing me over.

Find a research position and see if they’ll let you take a research loa

So I talked to my school. I will keep my student status until interview season, so I am graduating in Dec 2020, hopefully most of my interviews are done before that. After that I'll be working as medical assistance with family medicine doctor which will continue my clinical experience/
