Hello all: so I took CS end of December. I think I did very poor, I didn't feel confident from most of the patient encounters, I forgot many basic physical exam maneuvers, etc. no score today do likely next week. Here's my question, scores obviously will be available for programs before match. Is there anyway to block that do they can't see that? I'm pretty sure on eras I clicked auto send scores. If not, how screwed am I? Will I even get ranked at most of these places? What should I do? I'm extremely worried bc im afaid now I won't match, and I can't retake it with enough time before match. Any help would be great, thanks.

First off, wait till you get your score. Many people feel crappy and still pass. If you did fail, you are screwed as far as the releasing of the scores if you checked the automatic release. As far as ranking goes, it depends on other factors such as Step 1, what specialty you are in, FMG status, when the program makes the rank list, etc. Take it as soon as possible if you fail.

It won't be released until February 1st at the very earliest and since you took at the end of the last testing period, yours probably won't be out before ranking anyway so I wouldn't worry about it.

Agree unless you are an IMG/FMG. If you fail this they will remove you from the match whether the programs know the score or not. I believe it is one of the rules for ECFMG.
