Failing Microbiology

Greetings to all!

I am trying to enter Pharmacy school fall 2010. last year i failed micro but it is not a pre-req for the pharmacy school i plan to enter. I am very eager to take it over but i cant fit it into my schedule until the Spring, after I submit my app. it is possible for me to take it this Fall but I had to be realistic with my self and realize that taking Org Chem, Calc, and Physics, along wit Micro would be very unwise. So my question is, do u all think that having that F in Microbiology will hurt my chances even though it isnt a pre-req & i plan on taking it again in the Spring? thanx in advance.

Is it your only failing grade? If so, and if you don't fail it again in Spring, and if your GPA wasn't dropped to a precipitously low level due to it, you'll probably be fine. People get in with Ws and D/F notation all the time.
