It says, "If your parents were married in 2008, enter the combined marital income for the following."

My parents aren't legally married and file separately, how do I fill this out? I couldn't find this on the help section.

Even if they are not married you still have to put in the income for both parents so it doesnt matter. Unless you for some reason dont know your dad cause he left when you were 2, are emancipated, or orphaned you need to put in all parental income.

Yea, I don't know where my dad's whereabouts either. I've never put his income in and that's fine.
