I think I'd rather have a school that screens before taking our $$ instead of robbing us.

At UND, you have to apply (for free) for a medschool application, mostly to demonstrate your ties to ND or the surrounding area. Only folks that pass the pre-application are given access to the actual application and its nominal fees.

It's actually kind of classy.
