has anyone applied for a fee waiver? were you accepted or rejected? how can i stack the chips in my favor? what circumstances would guarantee a fee waiver? how does family/parent income factor into it? thanks

Try doing a search for fee waivers/FAP. From what I have read and personally experienced, they are very difficult to get. You pretty much have to be below the poverty line, and it is still iffy.
