Female Nipple/Areola Hair

I realize that many of you might be able to answer the questions here and it would be greatly appreciated. I would post in the pre-allo forum but I've seen a lot of immature responses to other's posts that I really don't want to read.

Is it normal to have long hair around the nipple for a female? If so, what is the best procedure to remove it (preferably permanently).

Yeah, as long as there r no other symptoms, its normal. I get questions like these quite a bit now that people know I am going to be a doctor.

Since nipple tissue is so sensitive, I can't think of a permanant hair removal method that isn't going to cause some damage. And what you have now, most likely longer hairs sprouting around the nipple(s), can be nicely trimmed or even shaved without damage to the underlying tissue.

Then again, I'm not a doc, just a whippersnapper with an acceptance to med school, so if there are some real docs on here who disagree, let us know.

Yeah, there are procedures nowadays (hair removal clinics/beauty spas) that offer permanent hair removal

i dont know about these other passive med students but I prefer more aggressive, invasive treatment. Sounds like a good cure is good ole heart and kidney transplant.

Let her recover for a week and then put her on chemo. that should do the trick

Yeah, the only permanent form of hair removal is electrolysis (and laser claims to do so, and it may work for some people), and I could not even imagine that being done on a nipple of all places! I agree, trim it back... shaving may bring more 😱 .

Anyone who is close enough to your nipples to see hair is probaly sucking on them as well in which case shaving isnt going to fool anyone. He will feel like he is kissing another man's chin at 5:00 pm.

Alright, alright, I will add a serious response. 🙂

I had nipple hair and I used electrolysis and voila! now nothing there. So, it's no big deal to go to the electrologist once a month or so and have those guys done away with. Unfortunately, I come from a really furry family, and while it's ok for my brothers to look like big bears, I do not like it.

So yes! go get those things zapped with electrolysis!
