Rite aid in Michigan is closing thier stores..can I file for unemployment as a part time floater while looking for other jobs.

Also, am thinking of doing online masters nursing program as well ( tuition of 55k) is it worth it?

I’m sorry you’re getting laid off. I believe you should qualify for unemployment.

As far as the nursing program goes, I would rather see you spend your money on a computer science degree that would likely be cheaper and provide a better outcome.

Why don't you just call the State of Michigan and ask them.

most states you can get partial unemployment due to reduced hours but im not sure if its income capped. I had the chance to do that back in 2009 recession working in a restaurant. wow i am old!

Nothing wrong asking here.
True. However should 10 people reply, its possible to get 10 different answers and opinions. I figure cut out the middle man and go to who can (should) accurately answer the question.
