I didn't decide until last spring (junior year) that I wanted to go to pharmacy school, so I've had to play catch-up trying to get all the prereqs done. I go to a pretty small school, and unfortunately, I can't do both human phys and physics II (both pre-reqs for the schools I'm applying to) next semester because they overlap. I figured I'd take physics over the summer after I graduate. I got an email from UNC that says they give prioity to students who can finish the pre-requs by spring '08, and some of the other schools say they won't accept you if you haven't finished by the spring. I have a 3.77 gpa, I scored in the 99th percentile on the PCATS, and I've been working as a pharmacy technician since I decided I wanted to go to pharmacy school, so except for the prerequisite thing, I feel like I'd have a pretty good chance getting in somewhere. I've applied to UF, VCU, UNC, UWash, UMD, and Colorado. Does anyone know how much this will impact my chances of getting in, or if I should call and try to explain my situation? Thanks!!
