I know this is the second off-the-wall post tonight, but I just thought you'd be amused...er, disgusted by this story. Once again, click here to also read the story.
John Halls career as a dentist might be over after he pleaded guilty and heard a judges ruling Wednesday.
"He has no job, no friends, he's subject to scorn in the community," said Halls attorney George Laughrum.
Hall came to court a beaten man. He left as a guilty one. Hall accepted a plea deal, but refused to apologize to the women that he violated by allegedly injecting his semen into their mouths during dental procedures.
"Well the public perception was that he was guilty period. No matter what the facts were, he decided he wanted to minimize his losses," Laughrum said.
"He said he was pleading guilty just to put this behind him. That's like an alcoholic saying they dont have a drinking problem," said one of the victims.
All of the victims would have liked to see hall go to jail. Instead, he was given five years of probation and ordered into sex offender therapy even though legally, he is not a sex offender.
"I dont think you can ever have closure from this. I'll always be labeled as the girl that the dentist did this too. With a rape at least you would have the option to defend yourself with something like this we had no defense, it was a cowardly act, premeditated and he shows no signs of remorse he's a sick man, " said another victim Lisa Carpenter.
6NEWS tried to question Hall as he left the courthouse, but he went out of the way to avoid cameras.
When 6NEWS asked Hall why he did not apologize, he jumped a concrete barrier to avoid reporter Glenn Counts and did not answer the question.
Hall is planning to move to Florida assuming that state will go along with his intensive probation.
He has a job installing tile lined up. He will go from making $100,000 a month as a dentist to making $38,000 a year.
