Hey guys, I need some advice on if those paid USCE is worth it, I'm in a very confusing place right now. So basically I plan on getting USCE this year, but due to some SNAFU last year, I ended up with nothing, and now with graduation coming in 1 month, I will end up becoming a graduate, and exhaust all of option of getting any elective/clerkship. I'm in a weird situation because I'm an FMG,but I studied medschool outside of my country I plan to return back to my home country and do a 1 year externship to get my license there as well, and right after I graduate on March, I will have at least 6 months of free time before beginning my externship. So right now the only option for USCE is via those paid clerkship place which is suppose to be my last resort, but I have read a lot of conflicting reviews about them, So I want to ask...
1.) Are these paid clerkship/extern ( Medclerkship, Chicago Med, AMO) worth it? and do they made a difference in your profile to PD compare to having none at all?
2.) If not,where can a graduated FMG get viable USCE that would be relevant for my profile
3.) What can I do during these coming 6 months, that can contribute to increasing my chance for a spot in US residency.

So my only hope for a graduate medical education is in the US.
