Hi guys,

I am having the toughest time remembering this...

when you submitted your application to CSU they made us sign a form (along with our research advisors) saying that we would DEFINITELY be done by a certain date in the summer....

can anyone remember what that date was?? I remember there were two options: 1) the student will be granted their degree by this date at the latest and 2) the student will be released from the program without a degree by this date in order to matriculate into the vet school.

I have a thesis committee meeting today and I'm trying to find that date so I can tell them I HAVE to be done by then.

Anyone remember??

From what I remember, your advisor just has to sign a letter saying that you would be released from your graduate studies (or finished) before you started classes at CSU in the fall.

I had my adviser sign the letter and had written down that I would be done by August 1st (I should be done in June, just leaving room for last minute problems!).

The site says July 15, though.

A letter of release/transcript was due by July 15th. My PI wrote a letter saying I had completed all the requirements for graduation but did not give a date for graduation just in case something came up and I had to go back and finish up over break(luckily I didn't) They accepted that.
