CSU 2025-2026 (c/o 2030 hopefuls)

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Just saw on FB that someone emailed about the Kira timeline and they've decided not to use it this cycle. I guess we're just waiting on decisions in January!

It's updated on CSU's website as well. Interesting that we didn't get an email or anything about it though...
Would you mind sharing the link? I tried finding an updated schedule early today out of curiosity but couldn’t find anything lol

This is all I could find. Under the interview section, it says, "Multiple mini interviews (MMI) are canceled and no longer a requirement for admission." Couldn't find any mentions of the KIRA interviews, though.

That's the main thing that I was looking at, however there is also no mention of KIRA interviews anymore in the phased admissions process and timeline that they provided within the applicant portal.

I just find it so strange they’d remove it from the website/portal and not mention anything to applicants…

I graduate next weekend with my masters degree. Does anyone know where I should send updated transcripts? 😊

I did not see instructions anywhere, but this is what is stated on the portal

Hey everyone! I just wanted to pop in and say good luck to all applicants. I am a first year student and I know this is all EXTREMELY stressful. It’s hard not to check your emails every day!
I was initially put on the OOS waitlist but was contacted 8am the day after decision deadline.

I don’t check this very often, but I will try my best to do so over the next couple of months in case anyone has any questions. We are currently coming up to finals so the next 2 weeks may have no response but I will answer the best I can.

Again, good luck and keep your head high 😊

I have been trying to contact admissions about the Cell Biology and Physiology requirements. I would like to know if any of the courses I have taken fulfill this requirement, or if I need to take a separate course. I have not had any luck contacting admissions via email (the ones on the website and the applicant portal page). Does anyone have advice on who to contact or courses that have been approved in the past that met the physiology and cell biology requirements? Thank you and good luck, everyone! 🙂

I’m pretty sure your application cannot move forward through the admissions process if your current and planned/pending coursework does not fulfill all requirements. I feel like they should have contacted you if you were missing somethig or needed to take an extra course. That’s what happened to me last cycle with one program, they contacted me earlier on to let me know.

There's a course evaluation form you to go through. If you applied this cycle it needed to be submitted by September 1st, but it should be open for future cycles. Hope that helps!

It's getting real! Year 0's got an email that we will receive our official DVM offers in late January and begin the DVM portion in the fall! So excited to see everyone's decisions and see who will be part of our class!

Best of luck everyone! Less than 8 weeks left to go!

Does oficial mean acceptances have already started to go out?

No, we are part of the class of 2030 but we are all pursuing dual degrees so we started this fall with our other degrees! No acceptances for this application cycle have been released yet

What time in January have acceptances/rejections been sent out in the past?

What time in January have acceptances/rejections been sent out in the past?
Last year it was Jan 28th, the year before that it was Jan 3rd and the years before that, typically around the first week. However, it seems the timeline has changed to late January!

does anyone know if we would’ve heard back by now if we didn’t meet prereqs and our applications were tossed?
