I graduated more 6 years back and now want to take up NBDE Part 1 exam. But I 'm confused where to start the preparation from?
Need your guidance....

Graduate from dental school? Im not sure you can just take the exam. Normally the exam is given while you are attending school.

NBDE exam can be taken anytime ...there are no hassels.
giving exam while studying is beneficial as you need less time to prepare for this exam.

i understand that u can take the exam anytime while ur in dental school. but i fail to see how u graduated dental scho six years ago without even taking part one. normally they wont graduate you until you have passed part one and two.

just to clear the confusion...i guess smartyus is a foreign trained dentist who has graduated from a shool of dentistry outside the us and there nbde exam is not required to graduate because this is basically taken for us licensure..I hope u got my point...

smartyus: there are many threads where this same topic is discussed...just do a google seach and u shall be directed to the appropriate thread...at the end u will have to decide only which material is the best for u in order to prepare for this exam..gudluck..
