So I just took DAT last week and contacted every school that I have applied to.

And I just got an email from UCSF that they do not accept unofficial score reports and just continue to review applications without waiting for the new official score to be uploaded.

What does that mean??
Should I have waited until my new score was uploaded on AADSAS before I did the secondary and paid the fee?
Why wouldn't they wait for my new official score?

I am just frustrated and worried that they may reject me based on my previous DAT score from two years ago. 🙁

Most schools will hold off making a decision on your application until your scores are in as long as you let them know you retook. I would just attach a copy of the unofficial score report in an email and send it to each school, including UCSF. Whether they accept unofficial scores or not they will at least see what you got. I was in a similar situation it, this is what I did. Can't speak for UCSF though, didn't apply there.

Thanks.

Some schools told me to email them the unofficial score reports, while some other schools said they will wait for my new official scores to be uploaded.

UCSF, however, said that they won't be waiting for my new official scores and that's why I got really frustrated because my previous DAT score is not good at all.
