Did you take the DAT and then proceed to submit the supplementals?

And if your application is complete and sent out, do schools not look at it till they receive the supplementals?

I would also like to know this. I am about to submit my app. But now I am stuck between focusing 100% studying for the DAT or submitting the supplementals.

I submitted on 6/3 and am taking the DAT later this week, and not worrying about supplementals until after because I've been focusing on studying.

Schools won't look at your app until they have EVERYTHING. So I figured since it's still a few weeks until my GPA is verified and another few for my scores to upload, there's no need to turn in supplementals immediately since they're not going to start evaluating it until after all that.

I don't know if this is the "best" or "correct" approach, it's just what I have chosen to do

I'm curious to know this as well. My DAT is in the first week of August, and my committee letter will not be sent until after August 1st as well. Can I worry about the supplemental essays after my exam, if that's the case? ^

My situation is a bit different since my exam date is farther away. I plan on e-submitting fairly soon in the next few days.

I e-submitted my application on the first day and took my DAT on July 14th. Your application will not be reviewed until your DAT is in. Supplementals do not need to be submitted so quickly, I decided to wait until the schools e-mailed me to remind me to fill our their supplemental, some of which were before and some after I took my DAT. So don't worry about the supplementals. Just e-submit so you can get your GPA verified (which takes ~2 weeks) and just worry about studying for the DAT.

Your application won't be late. I received 6 interviews before Dec 1.

I submitted, did supplementals, then took the DAT. Worked for me.
