can you apply to UoP if you are going to graduate in May and want to attend the upcoming July


my counselor said with my scenario i will be done with all my classes in fall of 2011 but would have to wait till spring 2012 to graduate. can i still apply to dental school in the fall for the upcoming July for UoP? or do you have to have graduated before applying or even being considered for acceptance?

this stuff is all very confusing...

I have not graduated yet and I have been accepted at a couple schools.

really?? oh wow. thats like the best news i have heard! =)

so when should i start practicing for the dats/take it and apply to schools
if i will be all done with classes by the end of fall 2011? i prob wont even take spring classes as i will be waiting for graduation and just shadowing/working for a bit..

this is how my schedule looks like right now:

summer: ochem 1

fall: ochem2,
quant. analysis-chem
phys-mechanic/fluids
calc II

spring: biochem
chemical instrument
chemical materials/prep lab <--im excited for this =D

fall '11: senior project/seminar
sculpting
some journalism class
private business management

i hear UoP recommends the last two class to be taken so we can intetgrate it
into daily dentistry life (journalism-with writing and scultping to work with hands

now that I know that I can spread my courses over the next two years and STILL apply to d-school as well before graduation, I can enjoy my college exp
rather than freaking out! phew. thanks =)

oh and for UoP;

since it req 4 semester of BIO, if our Anatomy/Physio class
was under the Biology section, will that count as a bio course?

i already have bio1/2 and genetics
