Forgot to include "W" on courses taken

I sent in my AACOMAS primary last week, and after looking back at the transcript posted online I realize that I don't see the one "W" (withdrawal) listed on my transcript. I feel sure that I included it, since I did the AMCAS application at the same time and the course shows up there. I'm worrying now that I may have accidentally not input the course - would this make my application void?!

I don't want to get overly stressed about this - I have nothing to hide since my grades are great otherwise. The class was biochem and I took it without having first taken gen chem 2 or orgo 1/2, which were all prereqs.

Thanks for any help - I don't want to worry about this anymore.

It definitely won't hurt to contact AACOMAS and see what's going in this matter. Be sure everything is aligned correctly otherwise your application may reach undelivered status until you fix the issues.

BTW you are allowed to change things on your app up until you receive the message that your app has been verified.

I thought you could but I don't see any edit button. It says my application is "processing" right now.

You can edit everything else but your course work. It's ok. Aacomas will probably catch it during their verification process.

I don't want to be a downer. But my friend says a slight error in application can push back your application for 3-4 weeks.
Lets hope neglecting a "w" is no big deal

If it says "processing" you can still change it. If it says "verified" then every change will be sent out to the schools (you don't want to be messing with your app after it's verified).

Also if you are undelivered they will ask you to change it and you will NOT be pushed back in line. This happened to me with my transcripts and once I changed it I was immediately verified. So don't worry you will not be delayed by a month.

Yea thanks for the reply. I contacted them earlier since I was unable to change it (it said 'processing'), so they 'undelivered' it and I quickly added in my "W."

That's a load off my mind now. Back to stressing over the rest of the application process now haha

Interesting, but the update doesn't occur instantly right? I think AACOMAS updates everything Wednesday morning.

Correct, as long as it is done by Tuesday morning of said week.

So I guess if you did consistently update it. AACOMAS will keep notifying the schools every time which I can assume is frowned upon.
