Forum Chatbox?

There should be a chatbox embedded at the very top on the forum page. I found another forum that uses this and it's pretty neat and convenient - fast way to communicate with everyone on here.

How could SDN go about this if they wanted to implement it? Just curious.

I would think that it might slow the site down - at least for me when I am at work!

It might slow it down some, but I can't imagine it would be that much bandwidth. I think that'd be cool - the IRC channel is actually fun, but I'm guessing the fact it's an IRC channel makes only a few people willing to try it out. Having an easier interface for the chat would probably bring more people in.
