Hello All,
This is probably a bit early to be thinking about this but here it goes:
I will start a post bacc premed program this fall - still havent decided if at columbia or suny stony brook. any suggestion?
I noted that stony brook has a residency in preventative medicine, that awards an MPH from Columbia. I think studying for it is part of the residency. Am i right? This sounds pretty cool, to get paid and trained as a resident and earn a degree (for free?)
So the main question is this, if I now have an idea to train in both surgery and preventative/ public health medicine, the latter paying significantly less - do you think this should have an impact on my postbacc decision at all?
