my stats are nt too good bt i hv exp in home country and US,voluntary work,teachg exp...
at umn site its given that below 84 in nbd is not competative enough and my nbd is 83...

Can you pls share your other statistics.I am retaking TOEFL.My part1 84,gpa 3.18.
And ya I also read on their site about nbd score.

My personal opinion is they have only 10 seats and its very competitive.And they donot have bench test also.so I think its gonna be little tough in UMN .But You have good chances in others where they have more seats.If you take part-2 there will be more opportunities I think.

Apply.If you feel it is not enough, compensate with something you can, like ref and personal statment, appearance and hand skills.

i have been enrolled in masters prog in april2010 and it will get over in 2012,is it imp to mention abt masters prog only if it is completing shortly or we can mention it now also like in my situation where the prog has just started...

But if u r gonna be in a masters program till 2012 why apply to UMN for 2011???
